The Progressive Radio News Hour Guests for October 5, 6, and 7, 2012
Thursday, October 5 at 10AM US Central time: Katherine Hughes
Hughes represents the best of citizen activism. She's been defending civil liberties since age 14. It inspired her to become an ACLU court watcher throughout Dr. Rafil Dhafir's entire 17 week 2004-05 trial. It was rigged to convict.
Rafil is a true humanitarian. Nonetheless, he was convicted on 59 of 60 bogus counts. He was sentenced to 22 years in prison for being Muslim at the wrong time in America.
That topic, the latest information on Dhafir's status, and persecuting Muslims in America will be discussed.
Saturday, October 6 at noon US Central time: Andrew Kolin
Kolin is Professor of Political Science at Hilbert College. His books include "State Power and Democracy," "State Structure and Genocide," and "State Power and Democracy." It discusses his thesis that America is now a police state.
Major world and national issues will be discussed.
Sunday, October 7 at noon US Central time: Matthew Witt
Witt's a University of La Verne, CA Associate Professor of Public Administration. His published work with others shows shadow governing entities and state crimes against democracy undermine America's legitimacy and founding doctrine.
His work appears in Administration & Society, American Behavioral Scientist, and Public Integrity.
